Every Sunday from 3:50-4:20pm at the Helena Ice Arena.
We have about 12 practices per session and there are two sessions. One from October to December and the other from January to March.
Does HWH play in tournaments?
Yes. HWH competes in many tournaments across the state, including Missoula, Great Falls, Bozeman and Whitefish. Players also participate in games in Idaho, Washington, and Wyoming.
How much does it cost?
$95 per session (depends on ice rental)
$45 per month
$15 per practice
$55 per tournament
*Free ice time for first-time skaters who want to try hockey.
*We require USA Hockey registration from everybody who skates with HWH. It cost $34, but it is insurance that covers thousands of dollars of damage. One person on the ice not covered by USA Hockey takes away all the benefits from the registered members.
Do I need my own gear?
No. HWH has storage bin full of used gear that is available for use. However, if you’re committed to hockey, we do recommend purchasing your own used/new gear. This is for your own comfort and cleanliness.
What experience do I need?
NONE! HWH has varying abilities on the team. Anywhere from beginning to skate to college level hockey. |
